Music Ministry & Choir

What a wonderful way to pray by lifting your voices to God in song.

The Music Ministry at St. Mary’s provides cantors and choir support for congregational singing at the Saturday 5 PM Mass and the 9 & 11AM Masses on Sunday. Occasionally, we also invite instrumentalists to participate. 

During choir rehearsal, we explore harmonies, basic music theory, and seek to gain better musicianship. Rehearsals take place weekly before the 9AM Mass at 8:30AM. During special seasons, additional rehearsals take place on Monday evenings. The choir also participates in several fun fellowship outings throughout the year as a group and in local workshops. 

Any instrumentalists interested in sharing their musical talent with St. Mary’s, or singers interested in cantering or just being a part of the general choir should contact the rectory.
